SERVICE OVERVIEW

CBD GLASSHOUSE DESIGN in association with Ian Swinburn has extensive knowledge of supplying and installing custom made energy saving screens, shading screens or blackout screens into the roof, sidewalls or gable ends of any commercial glasshouse or Garden Centre. We offer both push pull rack and pinion systems and cable drive systems for our horizontal roof screen installations, both of these systems can be used for single or double roof screen installations.

Vertical sidewall and gable screens can be provided for shading or partitioning off areas within a glasshouse to create compartments. These are operated by maintenance free tubular drive units mounted between the purlins. For hardening off areas vertical roll up screens can be used to form external sidewall or gable ends and opened and closed when required to form crop protection when the outside temperature drops.
