CBD GLASSHOUSE DESIGN in association with Ian Swinburn specialise in the design and construction of public access structures and canopies that are suitable for use as retail areas and cafés. Working alongside the client, architects and the relevant building control departments we can provide a quality, long lasting glasshouse structure with eye catching features that can be glazed or clad with a variety of materials. The steel structure can be supplied with a galvanised finished or powder coated to any colour the client desires. Glazing and cladding materials range from 4mm clear toughened glass, 4mm coloured toughened glass, 4mm white coated glass, 16mm triple wall polycarbonate in a range of colours including clear, opal, bronze. Insulated composite panels can be fitted into the roof using our specially designed system and also into the sidewalls and gable ends.

All of our public access glasshouse structures are designed, manufactured and constructed to meet British Standard BS6399 part 3, 1988 (imposed snow loads) and CP3 chapter V part 2 (wind loadings) as required for buildings intended for unlimited public access.
